I am committed to the reform and de-federalization of America’s education system. I believe that each student is unique; therefore education should come from the state governments and communities closest to them. Ultimately, it is the parents – not federal agencies – that know what their children need to learn and develop academically. It is time to replace the current No Child Left Behind Act with legislation that reduces federal involvement, minimizes testing, and consolidates funding.
