In the 114th Congress, I serve on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, where I help identify prevalent waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government. I also look for creative solutions by reforming specific operations of government. Within this committee, I serve as vice-chairman of the Subcommittee on National Security. This seat, combined with my unique military background, allows me to oversee programs, expenditures, and general efficiency of the Department of Defense.
