Congressman Steve Russell talks gun laws, ISIS communication & women in combat
OKLAHOMA — Republican Congressman Steve Russell takes a break from meet and greets to join the Flashpoint panel.
Russell talks about keeping our rights during mass shootings likes San Bernardino. He also mentions that politicians are just as concerned about gun laws as the everyday citizen, so they discuss background checks and other variables in purchasing firearms.
The FBI says the San Bernardino shooters were radicalized. Russell talks about his disagreements with allowing ISIS to have open communication on the internet and other ways to take down the terrorist state.
The panel discusses the issue of women in combat, as well as allowing Syrian refugees in America.
Mike Turpen says Congressman Steve Russell is very "statesman-like."
